[[User:UnknownOutcast|UnknownOutcast]] and [[User:RhiaRidesTheWind|Rhia]] are new users too, but they've only posted once or twice, so I don't know how regularly they'll get on. The Vagabond isn't really writing poems much, so he doesn't come on much either, but when he does, he'll make comments on poetry (yours hopefully! :). ilovepoetry is the most active contributor - she usually posts poems at least once or twice a month. I don't post poems that much - like I said, I'm the unofficial teen mod, tho I can't do any of the stuff mods can, since I'm unofficial. If you want to take a look at my page, I've posted my ideas for redesigning the wiki, and I'd love to get your opinion. I'm planning on creating a tutorial for new users, so when I get that made, I'll post a link to it here. :) | ||

Hey Tliao ~
I'm rainshadow, the unofficial teen moderator of the Poetry Wiki. I saw that you tried to post a poem, and wanted to clarify things for you a little bit.
Notice I created a separate page for your poem. I think you may have been mistaken by the wording of the Create a Link page - you weren't supposed to post your poem there, you were supposed to create a new page for it. I went ahead and made a new page (linked to in my previous paragraph)and pasted your poem there. Another hint: to make line breaks in your poem, you have to use "<br>" (without the quotes)
after every line
where you want
a break.
After you create a page for your poem and post it there, you need to make links to it so people can find it.
The best place to post links to your poem are on the Open Mic page. Otherwise, people have to go directly to your user page or the poem's page to see your poem, and most people don't do that. I went ahead and added a link, but next time u post, u'll want to put links on the Open Mic.
Also, your "User page" is the place where u want to post your introduction and links to your poems. "User talk" is for other people to leave comments for you. I went ahead and moved your introduction to your User page and linked to Illumination of the Shadows.
Not trying to freak you out or anything! I just wanted to make sure you have the best experience here, and understanding how to do things is part of that. It's so awesome to see you on here! I'll tell you up front - there aren't many people on this wiki. Right now, there are only 3 active people that I know of - ilovepoetry, The Vagabond, and me. UnknownOutcast and Rhia are new users too, but they've only posted once or twice, so I don't know how regularly they'll get on. :)
I really liked your poem! Hope u post more!
