The Seamstress
is a hardy old woman
with pins
sticking
out of her mouth.
Thread in hand
with a needle
She
bastes
hems
appliques
a Raggedy Ann.
Her face-
an old wrinkled pincushion
pins stuck in her painted mouth
two black buttons for eyes
hair of fine vermillion thread.
