Hello.! Well, it's been a while, no? It's good to see you're still around - it encouraged me to sort out all my poetry into some sort of coherent order and finish of the odd bits etc etc and get it on here. And get myself back on here! How's it been going on the contacting IPL front? I tried similar stuff back in the day and it didn't get anyway - I wanted a forum page. So it's good to see you've got the "Village Pump" (great name!!) going. And I'm also strangely glad the admins aren't about - they'd probably shut it down.. and kick me off with half the stuff I've been doing... I'm almost intentionally breaking all the rules just to get someones attention here, but they don't seem to care. Oh well, at least we do. And ilovepoetry. I'm a gunna have a look through your poetry as well, and no doubt comment on whatever comes to mind!! Glad to see you liked Simon Says - I really like that line too. I wanted to take that poem further, longer, but when I came back to it, I thought it was quite sweet as it was. Same is true of Reflex Reaction, although that was as much writers block (it's old age getting to me y'see) as fondness of the poem. Then on the other hand Diastole Rehab/Right Arm Rifle is such a weird combination (from my point of view) of a very old poem and one I wrote this summer! And as such is a mismash of ideas, yet fundamentally the poem scans well. How have you been finding all the new stuff? As for blank pages, what can we do? - it's people's poetry to do with as they wish. Sad in this case, but still. I don't know if people were scared of plagarism, or not; I'd think it a bit silly to worry about that - this is such a back-end place, with (no offence, cause I include myself) no the calibre of material for it to be worth anyone's while!
