Talk:Sample WordPlay Poem
From SiteIPLTeenPoetryWiki
We HIGHLY suggest that you post your responses to a poem on the discussion (a.k.a. "Talk") page for that poem.
[edit]
To respond...
- Go back to The Mic, Your WordPlay, or Today's Exquisite Corpse poem you want to respond to.
- Click the "discussion" tab at the top of that page (this is where you're at now).
- (You need to be a registered user first; if you're not, and are interested, click the "Join this wiki" link to the left.)
- click inside the text box, skip a couple lines down from the last entry and enter your response to the poem like so ...
- Who do you think the "gum-thumper" in Glyph is? I'd say a father or some kind of male authority figure. I think the imagery shows us that ... (and so on).
- When you finish, hit "return" twice and simply sign your comment by entering 4 tildes, like this:
- ~~~~
- Click "Save Page" at the bottom of the page.
Sample Response: Strange images, but i like the way this acrostic chance came out. Did you use the first word beginning with that letter on the page? Or did you skip around a little on the page to find a better phrase? It flows really well. What is "Glyph," too? i'll check around for it.
