Linking to the IPL

If you want to link to us, go right ahead. As a public library, we can best serve our community of users if they know about us and can find us easily. We welcome and encourage links from individuals and organizations with a presence on the Web.

Here is our preferred web address.

http://www.ipl.org/

We ask you to aim your link at http://www.ipl.org/, our preferred address. Pointers to particular services or pages within the Internet Public Library are also encouraged; please be sure that the link address begins with http://www.ipl.org/ and that you identify the specific page from our site.

We do NOT participate in link-exchanging, however. If you think your link is an authoritative information resource that others would find valuable, we would be happy to consider it. Just fill out our Suggest a Site form.

Please note, unless your site's information content outweighs its commercial aspects, we will not put it up.

Below you will find HTML code for graphics and text that you can use for linking to the IPL. Feel free to copy and paste the HTML code into your web document. You can also move the images to your computer by dragging and dropping them to your desktop. If you need any help doing this, please let us know using our Contact Us form.
